My ancestors were from Wales, where singing is part of the national character. I grew up singing in my church choir, and as a church and community soloist. In university I did not study music, and my first career was in the corporate world. I took my first voice lesson well into adulthood, and have spent the years since continually studying voice. I am fascinated by the science and the art of voicing.
